PRESS AND SOCIAL MEDIA OFFICER (M/F)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Responsible for telling Boca do Lobo´s story through innovative use of all media opportunities
• Working closely with the Communications and Marketing team to actively manage web content and suggest improvements
JOB BRIEF:
• We are looking for a press and social media officer to join our Porto-based digital media department. The candidate must demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to learn;
• Enthusiasm is a must as are excellent communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work collaboratively with the PR Manager in feature writing and placing articles
• Responsible for media measurement/monitoring
• Support the delivery of a range of media and PR activities with a focus on :
a. print and broadcast media activity
b. social media
c. website
d. local media
e. internal communications

• To improve and increase social media activity updating content daily
REQUIREMENTS:
• Professional diploma in communications, marketing, journalism, or equivalent qualification or relevant experience
• Strong writing skills, excellent grammar and spelling
• Solid understanding of online metrics and strong analytical skills to measure effectiveness of activity
• Experience of organising media events, press conferences, interview programmes, product launches
• Self starter, with positive and proactive approach, prepared to generate new ideas and move them forward
• Exceptional organisational, problem solving, analytical skills, with a passion for detail
